  • How does Players’ Lounge work?
Players’ Lounge is a social gaming company. We act as a secure third party for players to compete in one-on-one competitions and tournaments - for free, for cash, and for other awesome prizes.

To get started, you’ll want to SIGN UP here. After you’re signed up, check out our OPEN MATCHES here. This page allows you to join an existing open match, create your own match or use the main lobby chat to organize a match with another member of the community.

Once you’ve accepted a challenge or entered a tournament, the entry fee money from each player's account will be withdrawn and the combined prize pool will be held in our secure escrow account. Players can communicate through the match lobby chat or by private message as they set up their game and prepare to face off!

After you’ve completed your game, you and your opponent(s) will report the outcome of the match. Once the score is verified, the winner’s account will automatically be credited with the winnings!
  • What video games does Players’ Lounge host competition for?
Players’ Lounge currently supports FIFA, NBA 2K, Madden, MLB The Show, NHL, Call of Duty (Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered, & Black Ops 3), Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Injustice, UFC, and PES for head-to-head skill-based competitions, as well as tournaments.

We plan to expand to other games soon. Stay tuned!
  • How do I play a match?
The exact steps vary by game, but in general:
    1. Add your opponent as a friend on Xbox Live or PSN using their Gamertag or Username.
    2. Go to the game mode where you can play a friend online. For example, the Online Friendlies mode in FIFA.
    3. Send a game invite to your opponent.
    4. Check and confirm the match rules and settings.
    5. Start the match.

Note: Be sure to take pictures/screenshots of the match final score in case of a dispute about the match result.
  • What happens if my opponent or I get disconnected during an online match?
It is the responsibility of each player to ensure that their connection is suitable for playing online. If a player gets disconnected we recommend that they communicate with their opponent to figure out a way to finish the match — i.e. if the disconnection happened at half-time, the match should be completed after one half of the new game.
  • What are disputes, and how do they get handled?
After completing your Head-to-Head match or Tournament competition, both teams will report the scoreline from the game. In the event that both players do not report the scoreline, a “dispute” is created.

We take our gaming very seriously at Players’ Lounge and disputes are no different.

Disputes generally come from two circumstances:

    1) Accidental - You won 3-1. But in your gamer’s glee, you mistakenly report 3-0. We understand this happens occasionally, but please take an extra moment next time.
    2) Intentional - You lost 2-0. You report that you won 2-0. This is a very serious offense and can result in your account being banned from Players’ Lounge.
  • What are bounties?
Bounties are issued on players who have winning streaks. A bounty starts at $1 for five wins in a row, then increases $0.50 for each win after. The longer the winning streak the larger the bounty. The first person to beat the player with a bounty will win the bonus cash!

Disclaimer: Bounties are issued on a first come first serve basis, therefore not guaranteed.
  • Players' Lounge Tournaments
Tournaments are great — less risk, higher reward. There are two types of tournaments you can join on the Tournament Page.

    1. Tournaments that start at a specific time.
    2. Tournaments that start when capacity is filled.

Tournaments vary between paid entry, free and sponsored. You can use PL Coins earned in head to head matches as funds to enter a paid tournament. You can leave a tournament before it starts and your money / PL Coins will be refunded instantly (if it is a paid entry.)

Once the tournament starts, you will be notified and the bracket will be randomly generated with your match being created. Matches typically have a window of 24 hours to be played, so you don’t need to be online when it starts, but make sure to check the details for each tournament as the window may vary.

Quick Play tournaments start at a specific time and have an 1-2 hour window to be played.
  • Money and Payments

  • How do the match fees work?
Players' Lounge takes 10% from each player's entry fee for Head-to-Head matches. This is included in the entry fee - not in addition to it.

i.e. $10 entry fee = $1 fee from each player, $18 prize pool.
  • Are there any monthly charges on my credit card?
There are no monthly charges to have a Players’ Lounge account.
  • For how much money can I play in a Head-to-Head match?
For Head-to-Head competitions on Players’ Lounge, the minimum challenge amount is $2.50. The maximum challenge amount is $100.00.
  • What are PL Coins and how can I get/use them?
PL Coins are a currency that can be won, earned, and used to play in tournaments for real money.

You can currently win PL Coins by playing in a free match against another player, where the winner will receive 50 PL Coins.

To use your PL Coins, go to a tournament, click Join Now, and select the option to use your PL Coins to enter.
  • How do Deposit Bonuses work?
Deposit Bonuses give you extra money on top of your deposit amount. This money is unlocked over time as you play Head to Head matches for money on Players' Lounge. If you have a Bonus Balance, every time you play, 5% of your entry fee for the match will be converted to real cash from your Bonus Balance. For example, let’s say you earn $5 from a Deposit Bonus and have that much in your Bonus Balance. When you play a match for $20.00, 5% of that ($1.00) will be unlocked and available for use afterwards.
  • Account

  • What is the Players' Lounge Rating, or PLR?
Each player has a Players' Lounge Rating, or PLR, which is an indicator of how good a player is at a game. This is determined by an algorithm that takes into account things like the number of wins & losses a player has, and who they have played against.

For example, if you have a PLR of 60, and you beat a player with a PLR or 80, your PLR will go up a lot more than if you beat a player who has a PLR of 50.

PLRs are only shown if a player has played 3 or more matches with an entry fee of at least $5.00.

In order to help you compete with players close to your own skill level, you will not be able to challenge a player with a PLR of 80 or higher until you have a PLR yourself. (FIFA only)
  • How old do I have to be to compete on Players’ Lounge?
You must be 18 or older to compete on this website.
  • Can I have more than one account?
No. You are only allowed to compete on Players’ Lounge under one account. Your Xbox Live or Playstation Network gamertag will only work on one Players’ Lounge account.
